Okay, so I couldn’t come up with anything for a title, so that’s the title.
Anyway, I have cucumbers starting to grow off the plant…what’s funny is that the plant was an accident. I lost it to some squirrels or a cat or something on the patio, so I just plopped it down, behind the hedges, and said, “If you want to live, do it yourself!” It’s been a few months, but the cucumber plant is growing FABULOUSLY! In fact, it decided to root, in a place that it barely gets any direct sunlight…ever…and gets watered by the sprinkler system…if that water makes it through the hedges…BUT IT’S GROWING! Woot! Wootwoot! Maybe I can try my hand at pickles…
Any suggestions on a delicious pickle pickling recipe?
Hello! I know it’s been some time since I’ve posted, but I’m excited to say I have been growing well! Having done some moving around, I’ve had to restart my apartment garden…currently I have some Bell Peppers growing rather nicely, two types of basil, a cactus, an aloe, catnip, bamboo, and a pothos plant growing very well. The pothos is something I’m particularly proud of since it’s been in my family for years and it’s grown to the point where I’ve had to layer the ivy in on itself to fill the pot back out properly. The peppers will be able to be harvested in about a month, and I’ll probably try and take seeds from the first pepper.
Any suggestions on how to properly harvest seeds?
Is it wrong to want to get to know yourself months after a break up because of a pending break up….?
I have just planted catnip seeds. 10:22pm EST. Let’s see how this works. :)
Who else grows catnip? Any tips?
Just planted Daisy Alaska! Let’s see how flowers do for me…:)
Though the pollen will probably drive me nuts…but oh well! :)
My Bachelor Buttons have all begun to sprout! All 5 seeds. I’m really excited to see how they grow. I’m also curious as to how well they do in an apartment room.
When they pop up rather than just sprout through the seed, I’ll try and get a picture and post it! :)
Also, I wanna take a moment and thank everyone who is following me here on Tumblr. You guys are awesome!
Tomatoes: I planted tomato plants about a month ago…then lost track of them, but they’re still growing. They need to be transplanted soon…
But tonight, I planted a whole new flower to me: Bachelor Buttons. The seeds smell very unique. I like it.
I just planted them tonight, around 2145 EST in the pot that came with the kit. I’m excited to see where they go! :)
Okay, so I’ve been quiet lately because there’s been a major life change that’s going to cause much of my gardening to…halt…and then need a re-start.
Things were going well with the plants, but I’m going to be moving from one location to another that’s an hour away. I don’t have an apartment yet, but I’m living on a friend’s couch. Until I have an apartment, my plants are taking secondary priority (save for the pothos, which has been in the family for a long time.)
When everything’s back up and going well, I’ll keep even BETTER track of the plants and maybe do a few experiments!
Thank you to dnikki! I was able to figure out how to link my other blogs to my profile! Go and check them out! :) (Under My Pages/My Other Blogs) I’ll love you forever!
So, as an experiment I planted a garlic clove a while back. I’ve been reading up on when to harvest…and guess what? IT’S ALMOST READY TO HARVEST!!! Yay! We’ll see what happens, but again, this was just an experiment. :)
